Laura Rodgers

​

My name is Laura Rodgers and my husband and I bought this 163-year-old historical home a year and a half ago, I have always wanted a home that is warm and inviting  for my family and friends. Located in the sweet little town of Clarkston, MI, on an even sweeter little lake, the setting was perfect for what we were looking for. 

​

I am also a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Southeast Michigan. A CRNA is an advanced practice nurse who practices both autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of health care providers on the inter-professional team to deliver high quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services. Simply, we are the ones in the operating rooms providing anesthesia, the ones with you every minute you are there, the ones caring for you and making the moment to moment decisions for you while in our trusted care. I love my job as a CRNA and as faculty for a nurse anesthesia program in Michigan.

Lastly, but most importantly, I am a wife, a mom, a mother-in-law and most recently a Grandma (Gigi). These jobs are the ones that I covet more than life itself. 

​

And so, I leave this “who I am page” with what I know for sure-

I know for sure that:

I am blessed to have a family that is healthy and safe. 

I am blessed to be able to help, in what ever way possible, those people that are less fortunate with their health.

I learned from the pandemic that I miss my family when I cannot see them, I have realized that I am a people person, I need hugs and the human touch.

I miss most of all the hugs and the human touch.
